Crittall, SMW, W20, W40, F7D, they are all Steel Windows to me.

As most of my working life has been centred around Steel & Aluminium
windows and their components and as someone who takes an interest in
various blogs, on various topics, I thought I would put finger to keyboard
and make a start on this today.
It has been prompted by a bit of a sort out and several days of "Oh, I had forgotten about that catch" or I haven't seen one of those handles for years" and given the ease of Digi Photography, I thought I would make a start on listing a mountain of discoveries, with images.
This is not only a good internal resource but also a chance for you to see
some of the thousands of parts that make Fenestration work.
So, if you have got bored at this point - nice of you to drop in, perhaps
not your cup of tea.
If, however, you are one of the thousands of people maintaining
Commercial Windows, up and down the country, you may wish to pull up a chair, as the show is about to start.

I thought these few images would be a good starting point,
as all of these parts are replicas.
The next post will show some of the more standard items.

More next time.
