It's been some time since my last post and since then I have
been to Ireland and back.
After around 25 years of travelling around, surveying thousands
of windows, I  have found myself mainly office/workshop based for
the last six years, with the odd trip to site to meet a customer.
In all those years, I guess the furthest distance would have been around
200 miles, to a large vertical slider job on the south coast, so a trip to
Ireland would be the longest distance to date.
This is a wonderful old building, sturdy construction, with a lot of character.
The two days I was there flew by - taking details of parts required,
measurements and photographs as well as getting stuck into some
Scrape, Ease & Adjust work, to assess what could be achieved.

It was nice to get back into the thick of it, at the coal face, so to speak.
There is a lot to be done at this site but when it is all done, these windows
should give good service for many more years to come.
