Kawneer Window Catch.

We have done these before but only in a standard form.

These are the catches used by Kawneer on their old Alderley Vertical Sliding Sash and the only other name we know them as is Premier Catch.
This one, as you can see, has a Hex Socket fixing instead of the standard thumbturn, to give a slightly higher level of security.

Casement Handle - Bolt Handle.

These are referred to as either Casement Handles or Bolt Handles and the traditional set up is shown below.

A customer has a site where the handle part has been broken off - the one below is the complete sample unit.

So, a close replica of the handle part was made - and are currently at the anodisers.
Will put up pics of the finished item when they come back.

Crittall Spring Catch

Many years back, this would have been a stock item, with a part code of 05/00009/061 and was used on Crittall Pivot Windows and Bottom Hung Windows.

As they are all now long gone, these are some I made earlier! :)

Crittall Window Spring Catch.

Being in the middle of another project, it was time for some shots of the progress!

So, dug out the camera and because I was keen to get them to the platers, very quickly put it together and took some images, before rushing off to get them sorted!
Went to look at the images. . . . the pin is back to front!
Doh!!

Back next time, plated at with the pin fitted the right way!

Muppet!

Custom Slide Stay Conversion.

Some old slide stays on site - some were missing completely, some had missing parts and the customer didn't want to do any modifications, he just wanted to fit them on and walk away.

A standard stay was used and the top bars cut down to match the hole centres of the originals.
A patch plate converted the standard lower bracket fixing centres and height to the same as the original.
That way, there was no drilling, just a straightforward fit.
